PLASTICINVA

Don't eat recalled Kroger ground beef

JBS USA recalled approximately 35,464 pounds of ground beef products sold under the Kroger, Private Selection, and Laura's Lean brands because they may contain hard plastic pieces. The contaminated products were produced on March 22, 2018, and have a sell-by date of April 9, 2018. A consumer found blue plastic fragments in one package, which prompted the recall.

  • Check your freezer for ground beef with a sell-by date of 4/9/2018 and establishment number EST. 34176 on the USDA inspection seal.
  • Do not eat the recalled products.
  • Throw away the affected packages or return them to the store where you bought them.
