Randy's Slab Bacon recalled for undeclared soy allergen and labeling error
Stop eating Randy's Slab Bacon if you have soy allergy
Dearborn Sausage Co. recalled approximately 3,660 pounds of Randy's Slab Bacon because the packages failed to list hydrolyzed soy protein, a known allergen. The mislabeling was a printing error. The affected bacon was produced on March 11 and May 2, 2014, and sold to a single retailer.
- Check your bacon packaging for lot codes 114070, 114094, or 114122 and the establishment number Est. 10002
- Do not eat the product if anyone in your household has a soy allergy
- Return or discard the bacon
- Call your doctor if you or a family member has an allergic reaction
