Bavarian Meats German-style meat loaf recalled for undeclared soy allergen

Do not eat Bavarian Meats meat loaf

Bavarian Meats recalled approximately 1,400 pounds of German-style meat loaf products because the labels do not list soy as an ingredient, even though soy lecithin was used in the product. The affected products were produced before March 2, 2015, and were sold in Hawaii, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your freezer for Bavarian Meats Bavarian Brand Loaf in 5 lb., 1 lb., or ½ lb. packages with establishment number EST. 6431
  • Do not eat the product if you have a soy allergy
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Contact your doctor if you ate this product and have allergy symptoms
