Fineberg Packing Co. ham recalled for potential Listeria contamination
Do not eat Fineberg's ham products
Fineberg Packing Co. recalled approximately 8,822 pounds of ready-to-eat ham products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products are Fineberg's Finest Danish Brand BBQ Flavored Ham and Holly Brand hickory smoked ham, packed on January 16, 2017, and distributed to Arkansas, Mississippi, and Tennessee. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat these ham products if you purchased them
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
- Check your freezer—these products may be frozen at home
- Seek medical attention if you have flu-like symptoms within 2 months and are pregnant, elderly, or immunocompromised
