Hempler Foods Group pepperoni sticks recalled for undeclared milk allergen

Don't eat Hempler Foods pepperoni sticks

Hempler Foods Group is recalling certain ready-to-eat pepperoni sticks because they contain milk, a known allergen, that is not listed on the label. The mislabeling happened when some packages were filled with the wrong product. About 8,500 pounds of affected pepperoni sticks were distributed to stores in California, Oregon, Utah, and Washington between April and May 2018.

  • Check if you have any Hempler's Family Classic Pepperoni sticks with lot numbers 8106, 8113, or 8117B produced between April 20 and May 2, 2018
  • Do not eat the recalled pepperoni sticks
  • Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them
  • Contact your doctor if you or anyone in your household has an allergic reaction
