Don't eat AdvancePierre frozen beef patties

AdvancePierre Foods is recalling about 20,373 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat grilled beef patties because they may contain pieces of soft purple plastic. The contaminated patties were produced on November 30, 2018, and were sold to food service establishments nationwide, including some schools. Two customers reported finding purple plastic in the product on April 1, 2019, but no illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not prepare or eat these beef patties if you have them
  • Look for product code 155-525-0 and package code 8334 on the box
  • Check for establishment number EST. 2260E on the USDA inspection seal
  • Throw away the product or return it to where it was purchased
