Don't eat recalled Hormel SPAM and luncheon loaf
Hormel Foods recalled approximately 228,614 pounds of canned SPAM Classic and Black-Label Luncheon Loaf products produced in February 2018 because they may contain metal pieces. Four consumers reported finding metal objects in the cans, and a few minor oral injuries were reported.
- Check your pantry for SPAM Classic or Hormel Black-Label Luncheon Loaf with "best by" date of February 2021 and production codes F020881–F020889 (SPAM) or F02098/F02108 (luncheon loaf)
- Do not eat these products
- Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them
- Call Hormel Foods Customer Service at (800) 523-4635 if you have questions
