JBS Plainwell ground beef recalled for hard plastic contamination
Throw out JBS Plainwell ground beef products
JBS Plainwell, Inc. recalled approximately 43,292 pounds of ground beef products produced on March 20, 2019, because they may contain pieces of hard plastic. The company discovered the problem after receiving two complaints about green plastic in the products. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat ground beef products with a sell-by date of 4/10/2019 and establishment number EST. 562M
- Throw away the product or return it to your store
- Check your freezer—some product may still be frozen
- Call your doctor if you swallowed plastic or have concerns
