Supermercado Selectos frozen beef, pork, and poultry recalled for lack of federal inspection

Do not eat Selectos brand frozen meat products

Supermercado Selectos recalled approximately 15,315 pounds of frozen raw beef, pork, and poultry products produced between August 2017 and May 2018 without federal food safety inspection. The products were distributed to food service providers in Puerto Rico. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat any Selectos DGA brand frozen meat or poultry with a USDA label, regardless of the cut or type
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
  • Contact your doctor if you become sick
