Perdue Harvestland organic chicken sausage recalled for blue plastic contamination

Do not eat Perdue Harvestland chicken sausage

Perdue Foods is recalling about 2,148 pounds of Harvestland Italian Style Organic Chicken Sausage because blue plastic pieces have been found in some packages. The affected sausages were produced on March 27, 2017, and sold in Connecticut and Maryland. No one has been hurt so far.

  • Check your freezer for 24-oz packages marked "PERDUE HARVESTLAND Italian Style Organic Chicken Sausage" with code 64405 and a "Sell By" or "Freeze By" date of 6/25/17
  • Do not eat these sausages
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
  • Call Perdue Consumer Relations at (877) 727-3447 if you have questions
