Don Lee Farms fully cooked beef products recalled for hard plastic contamination
Discard Don Lee Farms frozen beef products
Goodman Food Products recalled approximately 4,960 pounds of frozen fully cooked beef patties and crumbles produced on August 2, 2017, because they may contain hard white plastic fragments. The contamination was discovered after consumers reported finding plastic in the product. These items were supplied to school lunch programs in Maine and Connecticut.
- Do not prepare or eat Don Lee Farms fully cooked beef patties or crumbles with lot code 5886A7214 and "best by" date August 2, 2018
- Throw away the product or return it to where it was purchased
- Contact your healthcare provider if anyone has swallowed plastic or has concerns about injury
