Morasch Meats Inc. recalled approximately 3,930 pounds of raw frozen diced beef products produced on August 24, 2022, because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, a harmful bacterium. The affected products are 30-lb. boxes labeled "BEEF DICED 3/10# BAGS" with case code FM010152 and lot number 082422. These products were shipped to restaurants and institutional food service locations in Oregon.
- Do not serve or cook this product. Throw it away or return it to your supplier.
- If you have eaten this beef and develop bloody diarrhea, severe cramps, or decreased urination within 2–8 days, seek medical care immediately.
- Cook all diced beef to an internal temperature of 145°F (use a food thermometer) to kill harmful bacteria.
