Bear Creek Smokehouse beef recalled for undeclared soy allergen and misbranding

Do not eat Bear Creek Smokehouse beef

Bear Creek Smokehouse recalled approximately 3,700 pounds of chopped barbecue beef products because they contain soy, which was not listed on the label. The affected products were produced between November 2013 and January 2015 and sold in Texas. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your freezer for Beasley's Smokehouse Chopped Barbeque Beef with Sauce (1 lb packages with establishment number EST. 7226)
  • If you have this product and are allergic to soy, do not eat it
  • Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
  • If you ate this product and have an allergic reaction, contact your doctor
