Alewel's Country Meats recalled approximately 134 pounds of buffalo jerky products produced with incorrect inspection labels. The affected jerky was sold in 1 oz., 2 oz., and 4 oz. packages with "Use By" dates of 06-12-15, 05-11-15, or 04-02-15, produced between October 2014 and November 2014. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check buffalo jerky packages for "EST. 57" on the USDA inspection seal
- Do not consume jerky with the recalled use-by dates (06-12-15, 05-11-15, or 04-02-15)
- Return recalled products to the place of purchase
