Puritan Foods boneless turkey breasts recalled for undeclared milk allergen

Don't eat Puritan Foods turkey breasts from June–July 2014

Puritan Foods Co., Inc. in Boston recalled about 2,476 pounds of raw boneless turkey breasts because the label failed to list milk as an ingredient. The milk was present as a sub-ingredient in butter used during processing on June 11 and July 18, 2014. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check packages dated 'June 11' or 'July 18, 2014' with establishment number 'P-5933'
  • Do not serve or consume the product if you or others have a milk allergy
  • Return the product to where you bought it
  • Call USDA toll-free at 1-888-674-6854 with questions
