Phu Huong Food Company beef and poultry meatballs recalled for Listeria contamination

Do not eat Phu Huong meatballs

Phu Huong Food Company is recalling approximately 602 pounds of ready-to-eat beef and poultry meatballs because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The meatballs were produced on October 2, 2023, and packaged on October 3, 2023. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check if you have 11-oz packages labeled "ALBÓNDIGAS DE CARNE BÒ VIÊN PHÙ-HƯƠNG GÂN" with lot codes 200101–200124 and establishment number "EST. 7681"
  • Do not eat the product
  • Throw away the meatballs or return them to the store where you bought them
  • If you ate these meatballs and develop flu-like symptoms within 2 months, contact your doctor and mention this recall
