De Todito pork rinds recalled for illegal import from Colombia
Do not eat De Todito pork rinds
East Coast Food Distributors imported approximately 7,767 pounds of De Todito brand pork rinds (chicharrones) from Colombia, a country not approved to export meat products to the United States. The products lack required USDA inspection marks. These items were distributed to restaurants and stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
- Do not eat these products if you have them at home
- Check your pantry for De Todito pork rinds in any flavor (BBQ, Natural, or Limón) in 45g or 165g aluminum bags
- Throw away the products or return them to where you bought them
- If you ate these products and have health concerns, contact your doctor or call the USDA hotline at 888-674-6854
