Viz Cattle in California recalled about 6,082 pounds of beef flap meat produced in February and March 2015 because the product labels did not list ingredients. The beef itself contains no undeclared allergens or health hazards. This product was distributed only to institutional buyers in California.
- If you purchased beef flap meat in 30-pound boxes marked MXLS0020, MXLS0014, or TIF 120, do not use it.
- Return the product to your supplier or contact the company at (310) 702-7319.
- Contact your doctor only if you have concerns about an allergic reaction.
