Imported Swai fish fillets recalled for failure to meet federal safety requirements
Do not eat recalled imported Swai fillets
U.S. Cado Holdings imported frozen Swai fish fillets from Vietnam that entered the U.S. market without required safety testing and inspection. The products, sold under brands including Sea Queen, Delta's Best Basa, and Deep Water Sea Food, were distributed to retailers and institutions in multiple states and Puerto Rico. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check if you have any frozen Swai fillets from the brands Sea Queen, Delta's Best Basa, or Deep Water Sea Food with production dates between March 1 and April 5, 2016
- Do not eat these products
- Throw away the fish or return it to where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you have eaten this fish and have health concerns
