Do not eat APPA Fine Foods chicken caesar salad
APPA Fine Foods recalled approximately 92,657 pounds of chicken caesar salad kits sold at Sam's Club locations because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause serious illness. Testing found Listeria in the chicken component of some salads. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat any APPA Fine Foods or Daily Chef brand chicken caesar salad kits with use-by dates of August 14, 21, or 27, September 1, 3, or 17, 2014
- Check the establishment number 'P-21030' on the package label to confirm if you have a recalled product
- Throw away the product or return it to Sam's Club
- Seek medical care if you develop fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, or loss of balance within two months—especially if you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weakened immune system
