TNUVA USA recalled approximately 8,316 pounds of Mom's Chicken Extra Thin Cutlets produced on August 18, 2013, because they may be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes. The contamination was found during routine testing. Some packages may still be in home freezers.
- Check your freezer for Mom's Chicken Extra Thin Cutlets in 28.8 oz bags with UPC 843426005866 and expiration date February 18, 2015
- Do not eat the product; throw it away or return it to the store
- Wash your hands, cutting boards, and utensils with hot soapy water if they touched the raw chicken
- Call your doctor if you have fever, muscle aches, headache, or stiff neck within 2 months of eating this product—especially if you are pregnant, elderly, or have a weakened immune system
