Montrail Bison meat sticks and jerky recalled for lack of food safety inspection
Do not eat Montrail Bison meat sticks or jerky
People's Sausage Co. recalled approximately 15,554 pounds of elk, bison, and beef jerky and meat sticks produced without required federal food safety inspection. The products were made between May 2016 and June 2018 and sold under the Montrail Bison brand. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your home for Montrail Bison jerky or meat sticks with a 'use by' date between May 3, 2018 and June 15, 2020
- Do not eat these products
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
- Call the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 1-888-674-6854 if you have questions
