Do not consume Readfield Meats beef trimmings

Readfield Meats, Inc. (doing business as Ruffino Meats & Food Service) is recalling approximately 45,985 pounds of raw beef trimmings labeled "For Cooking Only" that were distributed to retailers and other facilities in Texas. The products were intended for further processing to eliminate foodborne pathogens, but may have been sold to locations without proper inspection where adequate processing cannot be verified.

• Do not eat these products if you purchased them
• Throw away the beef trimmings or return them to the store where you bought them
• Look for the establishment number "EST. 13126" on the USDA inspection seal on 50-lb boxes
• Contact your doctor if you have symptoms of foodborne illness (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever)
