Throw out Aurora Packing beef products
Aurora Packing Company recalled approximately 62,112 pounds of raw beef products packaged on April 19, 2019, because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. The contamination was discovered during routine testing. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat raw beef products with USDA establishment number EST. 788
- Throw away or return the affected products to where you bought them
- If you work at a school, hospital, or institutional kitchen, check your freezers and discard or return these products
- Seek emergency medical care immediately if you develop bloody diarrhea, severe abdominal cramps, or decreased urine output after eating raw beef
