Gia Russa pepperoni rolls recalled for possible plastic film contamination

Do not eat Gia Russa pepperoni rolls

P&S Bakery, Inc. recalled approximately 2,959 pounds of Gia Russa "DOUBLE STUFFED Pepperoni Roll" products because they may contain small pieces of clear plastic film used during food production. The affected frozen, ready-to-eat rolls were made on March 29, 2017. No injuries or illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Do not eat these pepperoni rolls if you have them.
  • Check the package: Look for Gia Russa brand, lot/box code 17088, and USDA establishment number EST. 27274.
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
  • Contact your doctor if you have any concerns about your health.
