Don't eat Tillamook Country Smoker teriyaki beef jerky

Tillamook Country Smoker recalled about 102 pounds of teriyaki beef jerky produced on June 7, 2018, with lot code 11588 and a best-by date of 03/09/19. The jerky was mislabeled and may contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) that is not listed on the package label. The mislabeled products were distributed to Utah and North Carolina. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your beef jerky package for the Tillamook Country Smoker brand, teriyaki flavor, lot code 11588, and best-by date 03/09/19.
  • Stop eating the product if you have it.
  • Throw away the jerky or return it to where you bought it.
