Do not eat Foster Farms frozen chicken breast strips
Foster Farms recalled approximately 39,747 pounds of frozen, pre-cooked grilled chicken breast strips produced on August 5, 2013, due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The affected products were distributed to commercial establishments in California, Texas, Utah, and Washington. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat the recalled product if you have it at home.
- Throw away any packages labeled 'Chicken Breast Grilled Strips' with establishment number P-33901 and best-by date 08-05-15.
- If you belong to a high-risk group (pregnant, elderly, or immunocompromised) and develop flu-like symptoms within two months, seek medical attention and mention this recall.
