Leader Slaughterhouse in Pennsylvania produced about 1,800 pounds of veal carcasses on April 10, 2015, without proper federal inspection oversight. The meat was processed outside of inspection hours and does not carry the official USDA inspection mark. The product was distributed to customers in Pennsylvania and New York.
- Do not use or consume veal carcasses from Leader Slaughterhouse produced on April 10, 2015.
- If you have this product, discard it or contact the establishment at 814-239-0182.
- Call your doctor if you have symptoms of foodborne illness (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or fever).
