Advance Pierre Foods chicken tenders and breaded dark meat chicken recalled for undeclared milk allergen
Don't serve Advance Pierre Foods chicken products
Advance Pierre Foods recalled approximately 54,700 pounds of chicken tenders and breaded chicken entrées produced between February and May 2017 because the products contain milk that was not listed on the label. The milk was introduced through breadcrumb ingredients used in production. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for recalled products with establishment number P-276 on the USDA inspection seal
- Do not serve chicken products with lot codes 0971114002, 0971441101, 0970451101, 097801101, 0971111101, or 0971401101
- Throw away recalled products or return them to where you bought them
- Contact your doctor if anyone ate these products and had an allergic reaction
