Beech-Nut Classics baby food recalled for possible glass contamination

Stop using Beech-Nut Classics sweet potato & chicken
Beech-Nut Nutrition is recalling approximately 1,920 pounds of Stage 2 Classics sweet potato & chicken baby food (4-oz. glass jars) produced on December 12, 2014, because they may contain small pieces of glass. One consumer found glass in the product and reported an oral injury. The affected jars expire in December 2016 and have product numbers 12395750815–12395750821.
- Check your Beech-Nut Classics baby food for the product numbers and expiration date listed above.
- Stop feeding this product to your baby immediately.
- Discard the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
- If your child has eaten this product and shows signs of injury or illness, contact your doctor or call the Beech-Nut Consumer Hotline at (866) 674-4446.
