Garland Ventures recalled approximately 13,842 pounds of ready-to-eat fried rice with chicken produced on November 10, 2023, because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected product is 12-ounce trays labeled "ARROZ FRITO CORTADO EN DADOS CARNE DE POLLO CON VERDURAS Y ARROZ EN SALSA DE SOYA SALADA" with lot code 595874884 and "use by" date of 11/10/2024. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat this product if you have it at home.
- Throw away the recalled fried rice or return it to where you bought it.
- Check your freezer and refrigerator for the product with lot code 595874884.
- If you have eaten this product and feel sick (fever, muscle aches, confusion) within two months, call your doctor and mention the contamination.
