Do not serve Tyson Foods chicken fritters

Tyson Foods recalled approximately 190,757 pounds of fully cooked, whole grain golden crispy chicken chunk fritters produced on February 28, 2019, because they may contain hard plastic pieces. The frozen products were distributed to schools and institutional food service operations nationwide. Three consumer complaints from schools reported finding foreign material in the product.

  • If you work at a school or food service facility, do not serve these products.
  • Discard the fritters or return them to the supplier.
  • Check your freezer for boxes marked with establishment number P-1325 and code 0599NHL02.
  • Contact Tyson Foods customer service at (888) 747-7611 with questions.
