Greener Pastures Chicken whole frozen poultry recalled for lack of federal inspection

Don't eat Greener Pastures Chicken—throw it out

Pasture Raised Foods, LLC (doing business as Greener Pastures Chicken) recalled whole frozen chicken produced between November 2018 and May 2019 because it was not federally inspected, despite being labeled with a false USDA establishment number. The uninspected poultry was sold to stores, restaurants, and homes in Texas. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat this product if you have it
  • Throw away the chicken or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Call your doctor if you have symptoms of food poisoning (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever)
