Chicken mid-joint wings recalled for undeclared soy allergen

Do not eat recalled chicken wings with soy allergen

Shop Packaging LLC in Massachusetts recalled approximately 115,505 pounds of frozen chicken mid-joint wings because they were sprayed with vegetable oil containing soy lecithin, which was not listed on the label. The affected products were produced between August 8 and October 10, 2014, and distributed to New York. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Check your freezer for 20-pound bags labeled 'Chicken Mid-joint Wing' with establishment number 'P-46946' on the USDA inspection seal
  • Do not eat the product if you have a soy allergy
  • Throw away or return the product to where you bought it
  • Call your doctor if you or someone in your household has a soy allergy and may have eaten this product
