San Giuseppe Salami Co. by Giacomo recalled approximately 832 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat andouille sausage produced on May 14, 2019, because metal fragments may be present in the product. A consumer found a metal ring in one package. The affected products are marked with establishment number EST. 21556 and have a "Sell by" date of 11/10/2019.
- Do not eat this product if you have it in your freezer.
- Throw away the sausage or return it to the store where you bought it.
- Check your freezer for packages labeled "ANDOUILLE SAUSAGE" from San Giuseppe Salami Co. by Giacomo with the 11/10/2019 date.
- Call your doctor if you swallowed any pieces of metal or have mouth or throat pain.
