Throw out EPIC brand meat fats and lards
EPIC brand duck fat, pork lard, pork fat, and beef tallow products from Supreme Cuisine were recalled due to a processing problem that may allow harmful bacteria to grow. The affected products were made between June 2016 and May 2017. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your pantry for EPIC brand duck fat, pork lard, pork fat, or beef tallow with best-by dates between June 2017 and May 2018
- Do not use these products—throw them away
