Savory Foods recalled about 33,000 pounds of Utz Hot and Spicy Pork Rinds because the bags do not list wheat as an ingredient, even though wheat is present in the product. This is a serious issue for anyone with a wheat allergy. The affected products were made between August 2015 and August 2016.

  • Check your pork rinds: look for Utz Hot and Spicy Pork Rinds in 3.5-oz plastic bags with use-by dates between November 28, 2015 and December 9, 2016.
  • Do not eat the product if you have a wheat allergy or sensitivity.
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it.
  • Contact your doctor if you or someone in your family ate this product and had an allergic reaction.
