Tucson Tamale beef tamales recalled for lack of federal inspection
Do not eat Tucson Tamale beef tamales
Tucson Tamale Wholesale Company recalled approximately 915 pounds of ready-to-eat beef tamales produced between August 11 and September 13, 2016, because the beef was not federally inspected. The affected products include Red Chile Beef, Chipotle Beef, and Chipotle Beef & Cheese tamales sold at the company's Arizona restaurants. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat these tamales if you have them
- Throw away the product or return it to where you purchased it
- Contact your doctor if you become sick after eating these tamales
