Bungie's Meats pork sausage recalled for contaminated water used in production
Do not eat Bungie's Meats pork sausage
Bungie's Meats in Catawissa, Pennsylvania recalled pork sausage products made with water that tested positive for coliform bacteria and did not meet EPA drinking water standards. The affected sausages were produced between February 24 and September 15, 2016, and were distributed to restaurants in Pennsylvania. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat pork sausage from Bungie's Meats (establishment #21603) produced during this period
- Throw away the product or return it to where you purchased it
- Contact your doctor if you develop illness symptoms after eating this product
