Cesina Sausage Company pork kolbassi recalled for mislabeling as ready-to-eat

Don't eat Cesina's pork kolbassi — throw it away

Cesina Sausage Company recalled about 10 pounds of smoked pork kolbassi because the label incorrectly says the product is ready to eat, when it actually requires cooking first. The mislabeled packages were produced on June 22, 2017, and distributed to a local supermarket in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. No illnesses have been reported.

  • Do not eat Cesina's Brand Fully Cooked Smoked Pork Kolbassi (1-lb vacuum-sealed packages with establishment number EST. 5073)
  • Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
  • Call your doctor if you ate this product and feel sick
