Tyson Fresh Meats recalled approximately 16,000 pounds of 80% lean ground beef produced on May 16, 2015, due to possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7. The affected products have an establishment number "Est. 245C" and a "use or freeze by" date of June 5, 2015. They were distributed to a facility in New York.
- Do not eat this ground beef. Throw it away or return it to the store.
- Look for packages with establishment number "Est. 245C" and June 5, 2015 date.
- If you or family members have eaten this product and develop bloody diarrhea, severe stomach cramps, or decreased urination within 2–8 days, seek medical care immediately.
- Cook all ground beef to an internal temperature of 160°F using a meat thermometer.
