Canteen/Covenco chicken milanesa recalled for undeclared milk allergen
Don't eat Canteen/Covenco chicken milanesa products
Canteen/Covenco recalled ready-to-eat chicken milanesa (breaded chicken cutlet) products because the labels did not list milk (whey) as an ingredient, even though the food contains it. The affected products were produced between September 7 and October 4, 2018. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your freezer for 6-ounce bags of "Milanesa de pollo FRESH TO YOU" with BBQ or hot sauce
- Look for USDA inspection seal number "P-40088" on the package
- Do not eat these products if you have a milk allergy or sensitivity
- Throw away the product or return it to where you bought it
