Olympia Provisions mortadella recalled for undeclared pistachio allergen
Don't eat Olympia Provisions mortadella
Olympia Meats recalled about 198 pounds of ready-to-eat pork sausage products labeled as "Mortadella Classica" that actually contain pistachio, a tree nut allergen not listed on the package. The mislabeled products were produced July 29, 2019, and distributed in California, Oregon, and Washington. No illnesses have been reported.
- Do not eat Olympia Provisions Mortadella Classica with garlic and spices with a "best by" date of 12-30-2019 and establishment number "Est. 39928"
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
- If you or anyone in your household has a pistachio allergy and consumed this product, contact a doctor
