Adams Farm Slaughterhouse in Massachusetts is recalling beef, veal, and bison products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, a harmful bacterium. The recall includes raw meat from animals slaughtered between July and August 2016, processed through September 2016. Seven people became ill after eating recalled beef.
- Check your freezer for recalled products from Adams Farm Slaughterhouse (EST. 5497 on USDA label) with lot numbers 120361–126661
- Do not eat recalled beef, veal, or bison products—throw them away or return to the store
- Wash hands, utensils, and surfaces that contacted raw meat
- Seek emergency care if you develop bloody diarrhea, severe cramps, or decreased urination
