Hawaiian Sausage Company Filipino Longanisa sausage was labeled "gluten free" but actually contains wheat gluten, a common allergen. About 4,380 pounds of the product with specific batch codes were sold in Hawaii between March and July 2019. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Check your freezer or refrigerator for Hawaiian Sausage Company Sweet Filipino Longanisa with batch codes 09067, 09081, 09088, 09113, 09130, 09148, 09156, 09163, 09170, 09179, 09193, or 09212
- Do not eat the product if you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity
- Throw away the sausage or return it to the store where you bought it
- Contact your doctor if you have eaten this product and experience an allergic reaction
