Chef's Cupboard soup products recalled for missing U.S. import inspection
Don't eat Chef's Cupboard canned soups
BCI Foods recalled approximately 3,304 pounds of Chef's Cupboard brand canned soups (chicken & wild rice, Italian wedding, beef, and sirloin burger varieties) because they were imported without proper U.S. food safety inspection. The products were sold at Aldi stores in New York and Pennsylvania. No illnesses have been reported.
- Check your pantry for Chef's Cupboard canned soups with best-by dates between February 2020 and March 2021 and establishment code "EST 142" on the bottom.
- Do not eat these products.
- Return them to the Aldi store where you bought them or throw them away.
- Call the USDA at 1-888-674-6854 (English or Spanish, Mon–Fri, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. ET) if you have questions.
