Discard A La Carte Foods gumbo and jambalaya products
A La Carte Foods Properties, LLC recalled approximately 30,438 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat meat and poultry products, including gumbo and jambalaya dishes sold to restaurants in Louisiana and Texas. The company used meat from a source that was not federally inspected when making these products. No illnesses have been reported.
- If you have any of the recalled products (12-lb frozen packages with establishment number EST. 13375 or P-13375), throw them away or return them to where you purchased them.
- Check any frozen gumbo or jambalaya products from A La Carte Foods, Ponchatoulas, Crazy Cajun Louisiana, Phil's Oyster Bar, Steamboat Bills, or Southern Spoon Foods brands.
- Contact a doctor if anyone who ate these products develops food poisoning symptoms.
