Uncle Lin Sausage recalled for undeclared wheat allergen
Don't eat Uncle Lin Sausage products
Venus Foods Inc. recalled three Uncle Lin Sausage products because they contain wheat that is not listed on the label. The affected products were produced between June 2014 and May 2015 and were sold to restaurants in California. No one has reported getting sick from these products so far.
- Stop using Uncle Lin Original, Spicy, or Sweet Pork Sausage if you have them.
- Check packages for establishment number EST. 6292 on the USDA mark.
- Return the product to where you bought it or throw it away if you're allergic to wheat.
- Contact your doctor if you or someone you know ate this sausage and has an allergic reaction.
