Don't eat GH Foods chicken salads with recalled corn
GH Foods CA, LLC recalled approximately 987 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken salads sold in California because the corn used in these products may be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes. The affected salads were produced between October 9 and October 13, 2018, and have expiration dates between October 17 and October 22, 2018. No illnesses have been reported so far.
- Do not eat these salads if you purchased them during the recall period
- Throw away the product or return it to the store where you bought it
- Check your refrigerator for products marked "EST. P-39994" on the USDA inspection seal
- If you ate this product and develop fever, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, or muscle aches, contact a doctor and mention the contaminated food
