Fisher Meats smoked ham and Canadian bacon recalled for Listeria contamination

Don't eat Fisher Meats smoked ham products

Fisher Packing Company recalled about 744 pounds of ready-to-eat pork products packaged on August 27, 2019, because they may contain Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The recalled items include Fisher Meats Old Fashion Smoked Ham, Smoked Ham Shanks, and Canadian Bacon with lot code 19239. No illnesses have been reported so far.

  • Check your refrigerator or freezer for Fisher Meats products with lot code 19239 (packaged 8/27/19)
  • Do not eat these products
  • Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them
  • Contact your doctor if you have flu-like symptoms within 2 months of eating these products
